Lifestyle newborn photography is a relaxed approach to newborn portraits that takes place in your home. That might mean cuddling together on the bed, snuggling on the couch, or simply spending time together in the nursery. But lifestyle doesn't mean we have to skip the posed portraits.

I love mixing natural moments with more intentional portraits throughout the session. For this particular newborn session, we spent a lot of time in the nursery, using the crib and all of the sweet little details around the room to create a variety of images. Baby can be photographed on her own, with Mom and Dad, and in those adorable little newborn poses that you'll want to remember forever.

One of my favorite things about an in-home newborn session is being able to photograph your baby in the space you created just for them. The nursery may look completely different a few years from now, but you'll always have photographs showing what it looked like when your baby first came home.

Those little details are worth remembering—the crib, the decorations, the books, the tiny outfits, and all the things you carefully picked out while waiting for your baby to arrive. You Don't Have to Have a Perfect House

You do not need your home to look like a magazine before your Fort Myers newborn photographer arrives. We’ll focus on the rooms and areas that work best for photographs, and I'll help you decide what we need to move or hide. A nursery, bedroom, living room, or even a favorite little corner can all work beautifully.

The other advantage of an in-home newborn session is that everything you need is already there. If baby needs to eat, we stop. If she needs a diaper change, we take care of it. If she decides that sleeping is absolutely not on today's agenda, we'll work around that too. Newborns tend to make their own schedules.
